Blue Marie Roberts was America’s sweetheart. Then came the awards show, the lawsuit, and the headlines. Now she’s in Harborview, hiding from the scandals in her grandfather’s cottage.

Mason Crane wants her gone. The mayor of Harborview doesn’t need a tabloid scandal moving in for the summer, and he’s told her so twice. What he does need, however, is a wife before his mother picks one for him.

So they make a deal with the last person either of them can stand. Marriage for six months.

But the town is small, the cottage is close, and every fight they pick keeps ending somewhere neither of them planned.
